Travel and Leisure magazine looked at the Federal Aviation Administration's current runway safety reports.
There were 75 incidents at O'Hare noted in the analysis.
Everything from weather to wildlife can contribute to an incident on the tarmac, but the report finds two-thirds of all runway issues are caused by pilot deviation from controller instructions.
Most incidents are minor where there's little or no possibility for collisions or casualties.
