A bank was robbed on Michigan Avenue Friday and investigators believe it is the same bandit who has robbed another bank in the Loop four times since August.

The latest robbery happened at the US Bank branch in the 300-block of North Michigan Avenue Friday morning.

Investigators believe the robber is the same man seen in surveillance photos taken at the Chicago Community Bank Branch on East Lake Street.

In each holdup the bandit has handed a note to a teller implying he had weapon before getting away with money.

The FBI is calling him "the chronic bandit."
