Gregory Flesher is accused of setting fires in Waukegan and in Canada.
A Canadian arrest warrant has been issued for Flesher. He remains in the Lake County Jail in connection with a May 4 fire in Waukegan.
Flesher is facing second degree murder charges and arson charges for a May 19 fire in Canada that killed a 48-year-old woman.
Canadian officials say they will not arrest Flesher until his Lake County case is over.
