Ernst and Young to add 500 new jobs in Chicago

The accounting firm Ernst and Young will add 500 new jobs in Chicago by the middle of next year.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced Tuesday the firm will start hiring immediately and hopes to have all the positions filled by June.

Ernst and Young currently employs about 2,000 people in Chicago. The new hires will come from all experience levels and includes a number of support staff.
