"We never anticipated receiving a honeymoon gift from Delta Airlines and Delta Shuttle. And I still can't quite process it. It's an unbelievably generous thing given that they brought us together in the first place," said Alexandra Williams.
When Arvin Shandiz and Williams arrived at O'Hare Sunday, Delta told the couple the airline was providing them with a free honeymoon trip.
The couple has had quite a whirlwind weekend.
Shandiz popped the question in front of his fellow passengers on a flight from Chicago to New York on Friday. He met Williams nearly two years ago while they were both flying from New York to Chicago. In his proposal, Shandiz reflected that when he met Williams he knew he never wanted to spend a second without her.
