Police say the student was walking on Sheridan Road near University Place at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday night when a man reportedly approached him from behind and asked him what time it was. The student pulled out his phone and told the man the time.
Shortly afterward, police say the man approached again and grabbed the victim. Police say he punched him the in the face, took the phone and pushed the student down before running away
