Begun in late September, the project runs along Michigan Avenue from Oak Street To Illinois with one or two lanes closed at any given time. With work being done late into the night, the city's department of transportation says the asphalt work is finished.
Pavement marking works is scheduled for late Tuesday night and will last into next week. After that, other work will include installing in-pavement detectors for traffic signals at multiple locations.
All work is scheduled to be done the week of November 14.
