More Information about Biba Golic (release)
Originally from Serbia, Biba began playing table tennis at the age of 9. Three years after beginning the sport, Biba earned a spot on the Serbian National Cadet Team and continued to climb the ranks to the senior Serbian National Team during the next 10 years. Biba became a dominating force in women's table tennis and earned several titles including the two-time Yugoslavian Singles Champion and the Mediterranean Doubles Champion.
In 2002 she joined Europe's most prestigious table tennis league, the Bundes League in Germany. During her tenure in the League she was recruited by Killerspin, (killerspin.com), and became a sponsored player for the Killerspin's Krew.
Eager to expand her horizons beyond table tennis, Biba applied to Texas Wesleyan University. While at the University she was able to further her studies and continue to play the sport she loved thanks to a scholarship. She continued to excel both in and out of the classroom including becoming the National Collegiate Champion in singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team and also was named the Most Valuable Player of the team.
Since becoming the anchor of the Killerspin Krew, Biba has continued to play competitively while also serving as a spokesperson for the sport of table tennis as a whole.
Biba regularly participates in special events where she performs spectacular exhibition matches and has made numerous appearances on television news and profile shows, as well as Hollywood feature films.
