A judge denied bond for a man accused in the death of a woman who was found burning in an Andersonville neighborhood garage.According to Chicago police, Pedro Cruz, 25, is charged with first-degree murder.
Firefighters were called to a garage fire in the 5000-block of North Clark Street Thursday and found 54-year-old Maria Santiago.
An autopsy shows she died of strangulation and blunt trauma from an assault.
