Jackson Jr. confident he'll be cleared in probe

November 7, 2011

Robert Blagojevich has offered to testify before a House committee investigating the congressman. Blagojevich is the brother of the former governor. During his trial, he testified that people representing Jackson offered to give the governor's campaign millions if Jackson got the appointment.

On Monday, Jackson said he is confident the House investigation will vindicate him, and he says he's never had anything to do with Robert Blagojevich.

"I do not know him. I've never had a conversation with him. I've never sent anyone to talk to him," said Jackson Jr.

Jackson made the comments after a speech to federal judges and their staffs about the economic condition of the country.
