More than 120 Christmas trees were donated to the Salvation Army to make the holidays a little brighter for families in need.

Last month, customers were asked to donate their gently used trees to "Tree Time Christmas Creations" in suburban Lake Barrington.

Thursday morning, the store gave the trees to the Salvation Army. They will be taken to the organization's stores and given away for free.
