A teenager is one of two people charged in connection with a shooting that left a 6-year-old boy in critical condition.

Marshown Means was shot while playing with his 13-year-old uncle.

Police say the teen took a loaded gun out of a locked safe and fired at the child. The teenager is charged as a juvenile.

The child's grandfather, 50-year-old Napoleon Walker, is charged with a gun violation. He is due in bond court Tuesday.
