12 arrested in drug-trafficking scheme

Federal agents arrested a dozen people in Chicago, accused of shipping money and drugs between the Chicago area and Mexico's brutal zetas cartel.

The FBI and drug enforcement administration arrested 12 people in Chicago and one in Texas. A total of 20 people are indicted. One was already in custody, one was hospitalized and five remain at large.

Authorities seized about $12.5 million in cash, and about 250 kilograms of cocaine in the Chicago area over the past year.
