Sex assault victim struck, killed by car in Gary

A 69-year-old Indiana woman who was sexually assaulted last summer was struck and killed by a car Sunday in Gary, Ind.

Police say Patricia Watson was trying to cross a road when a driver who had a green light hit her. The driver didn't stop.

Last August, Watson was attacked at South Shore train station after attending her sister's funeral. Police say the man threatened her with a gun.

Images of the assailant were captured by a security camera and 16-year-old Aarion Teri Lee Mosley was charged.

Watson died Monday of injuries suffered from the weekend car crash.
