Laura Konow lives in Homer Glen. She says her Vietnamese potbellied pig Sweetie was out wandering in a cornfield last week and was shot in the back of the head. The bullet passed through the back of the animal's neck and she's doing fine.
Konow says Sweetie is very special to her family. She's had her for about 14 months now. Sweetie is recovering just fine.
