Authorities in Aurora said it was safe to send children to school Tuesday despite threats of an alleged ''Columbine-style'' attack by a student.

The student is reportedly a freshman at Metea Valley High School.

Parents received an automated call from the principal telling them the police and school officials have taken steps to ensure the safety of all staff and students.

The student was questioned by police. He has been taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
