Chicago police investigate North Side home invasions

December 10, 2011 (CHICAGO)

At about 9:45 a.m. on Saturday in the 6100 block of West Henderson Street, police say three men convinced the victims to open the door by pretending to be delivery men. According to police, the men handcuffed four victims and took money and jewelry from a safe in the house. No one was injured.

Just a few weeks ago, a neighbor was burglarized.

"They just come in and take your stuff. So you feel very violated," said neighbor Jason Ramirez.

Earlier, a home in the 1800 block of West Cuyler was robbed. Police say a shot was fired and one person was injured.

According to police, none of the victims can offer descriptions of the robbers.
