The fire started around 10:30 Saturday night at a building in the 2700-block of N. Pine Grove. Firefighters saw flames coming from the third floor.
Theodore Walton, 85, suffered burns to his entire body and was taken to Advocate Masonic Medical Center, where he died Sunday.
