Garrett's to open in Chatham, 87th and Cottage Grove

An iconic popcorn franchise will soon open a new location on Chicago's South Side.

Garrett's Popcorn is about to open its first stand-alone store at 87th and Cottage Grove in the Chatham neighborhood. The store is scheduled to open this Thursday with some special gifts for customers.

The official "grand opening" is being planned for early February.
