A Highland Park father says his daughter is at home and doing well after a sexual assault in Chicago on New Year's Eve.

ABC7 is not identifying the father because his daughter is a sexual assault victim.

"I just want to say that we are overwhelmed for the wonderful support of the community," he said.

His daughter was found unconscious about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2100-block of North Rockwell in the city's Logan Square neighborhood.

Police questioned three teens in the attack, but they were later released. Authorities are now waiting for DNA test results in the case.
