The incident happened late Wednesday afternoon in the lake at Diversey.

Firefighter Bill Miller was fishing when the man fishing near him lost his balance and fell in the water. Miller jumped in and held the man up till rescue crews arrived. Miller thinks the water is about 33 degrees and the man was in the lake for about 20 minutes.
