MLK's legacy celebrated at prayer breakfast

Monday is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Chicagoans honored his life and legacy at the annual interfaith breakfast Friday morning.

ABC7's Karen Jordan emceed this year's breakfast.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel was among the scheduled keynote speakers.

Gov. Pat Quinn and Sen. Dick Durbin were also in attendance.

The program included a commemorative reading of King's "I have a dream" speech as well as musical performances.

The event was held at Chicago Hilton and Towers.
