Indiana Sec. of State convicted of voter fraud

February 4, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Sec. of State Charlie White was accused of lying about his address on voter registration forms. Prosecutors say he used his ex-wife's address instead of the address for a condo he owned with his fiancee.

A jury found white guilty on six felony charges Friday, including theft and perjury.

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels has now appointed Jerry Bonnet as interim secretary of state.
