Arielle Starks, 13, died of bronchial asthma. The ambulance that was taking her to the hospital crashed into a car at 87th and Langley. A second ambulance picked her up and took her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. She arrived at that hospital 40 minutes after the initial 9-1-1 call.
The family's lawyer claims paramedics inserted a breathing tube improperly.
The city's law department will not comment on the settlement
