Love affair with hybrid cars may be waning

A new report finds one hybrid seems to be enough for most car buyers.

According to a study by Auto Information Company R.L. Polk, only 35 percent of consumers who have purchased a hybrid buy another one. That's despite the greater variety of hybrid cars now on the market.

So why is this happening? Some are trading in and getting an all-electric car. Others are switching back to gas-only powered vehicles since they are less expensive than hybrids.
