Boy, 14, rescued from Chicago River

A teenage boy was rescued Tuesday night from a runaway dock on the Chicago River.

The 14-year-old was on the floating dock when it broke away from the shore and moved down river near 32nd and Ashland.

Chicago Fire Department divers managed to stop the dock.

The boy was brought ashore by a police department boat. He was not hurt.
