Police are searching for the killer of a southwest suburban woman who had just gotten married.

Twenty-six-year-old Estrella Carrera was found dead in the bathtub of her Burbank apartment on Sunday. She had been stabbed multiple times.

Police say they think her new husband, 30-year-old Arnoldo Jimenez, killed her. A first degree murder warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Jimenez is on the run and was last seen in his 2006 Maserati four-door car. It has Illinois license plates L641441.

Carrera was last seen alive at a wedding celebration at a restaurant in Chicago Friday night into Saturday morning. She was wearing the same sequined dress when she was found dead on Sunday.

"It was an up and down relationship," said Captain Joseph Ford, Burbank Police Department. "There was domestic violence in the past. We don't know if there was an argument that ensued without speaking to him."

Investigator say there was no forced entry at the condo where Carerra was found. If you have any information regarding this investigation or the whereabouts of Jimenez call Burbank police.
