Study: Exercise prevents psoriasis

The more you exercise, the less likely you are to get psoriasis. That's the finding of a study of women who regularly exercise vigorously.

The study included runners and aerobic buffs.

Scientists say, what they don't know for sure is whether losing weight and exercising will prevent you from getting psoriasis.

Less vigorous activities, including walking, weren't linked to a decreased risk of psoriasis.

The study appears in this week's Archives of Dermatology.
