National Donut Day marked by local cops on roofs

Friday is National Donut Day, and some police officers in the Chicago area are hanging out on the roofs of some Dunkin' Donuts for a cause.

Local police departments take part in the Cop on Top fundraisers to benefit the Special Olympics.

A doughnut shop in Roselle was one of 130 shops where officers were soliciting donations.

People who make a donation receive a coupon for a free donut. The officers are staying up on the roof until 2 p.m.
