Cook County officials are singing a sweet tune thanks to early ticket sales of Lollapalooza.

So far, the county has collected an $160,000 in amusement tax receipts. That's because organizers of the lucrative music festival are now required to pay a series of city, county and state taxes they did not have to pay in years before.

A Cook County commissioner tells the Chicago Sun-Times she wants to take the revenue collected from the 3 day festival and put it in to a summer jobs program.
