Two workers safe after scaffolding malfunction

June 14, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Firefighters got a call about workers trapped on scaffolding that was starting to release.

The workers were on the 16th floor of the building at Washington and Garland Court when apparently one of the motors did not stop when they came to the floor they wanted to work on.

Fortunately, firefighters were able to rescue them through a window.

Both men were checked out at the scene and they are fine.
