Helicopter to lift plane out of marsh

A small plane that made an emergency landing in a Cary, Ill., marsh on Wednesday will have to be lifted out of the area by helicopter.

According to published reports, the single-engine Beaver bush plane landed in the Lyons Prairie and Marsh around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. The pilot, who was not injured, put the plane down in the dried out marsh area along Hickory Nut Grove Road near Three Oaks Road.
