Last day on the job for US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald

U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald was seen leaving the Dirksen federal building Friday evening. It was his last day on the job.

He's stepping down after 11 years.

During his tenure, he oversaw the prosecutions of governors George Ryan and Rod Blagojevich.

On Thursday, he announced corruption charges against former Chicago alderman Ambrosio Medrano and former Cook County commissioner Joseph Mario Moreno.
