Police say it happened Sunday in the 2700-block of West Adams. The woman told police the offender was wearing a multi-colored mask and dirty white gloves. He allegedly threatened the woman with a knife, then tied her up and sexually assaulted her.
The woman says the man went through her wallet and stole her engagement ring from her finger. The suspect is believed to be in his late teens.
