In the Roseland neighborhood, police responded to a call of shots fired at a party in the 200-block of West 110th Street. They say three men ran off, then two of them allegedly pointed weapons at police.
Officers fired and killed one of the men. They arrested the other two. In a separate incident, a shooting in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood has left one man dead and another wounded. It happened overnight in the 900-block of North Drake. Police say a shooter on a bicycle shot and killed 26-year-old Jerell Butler. A 32-year-old man was shot and taken to the hospital. No one was in custody later Saturday.
