Chicagoan, 30, arrested in murder of South Bend woman, 20

When an Indiana State trooper arrived, the woman was unresponsive with life-threatening injuries, and a man was attempting to perform CPR. The occupants of the white 2002 Buick SUV were coming from Chicago headed to Indianapolis.

The woman, identified as Rachael Savanna Woods, 20, of South Bend, was airlifted to Saint Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis where she later died of her injuries.

One of the occupants, Nathan Huey-Dingle, 30, of Chicago, was arrested and taken to Jasper County Jail for an outstanding warrant. Huey-Dingle, who was still in jail on the above warrant, was charged Monday with the murder of Rachael Woods.

Huey-Dingle was charged with murder, aggravated battery, promoting prostitution, intimidation, criminal confinement, and two counts of operating while intoxicated.
