Grayslake home invasion suspects in custody after police pursuit

September 29, 2012 (GRAYSLAKE, Ill.)

According to police, two men with guns and a woman with a bat stormed into a Grayslake home and robbed the residents on Friday night.

The victims were not injured.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they saw a suspicious vehicle speeding away.

"There was a small, tenth of a mile worth of a pursuit here," said Phil Perlini, Grayslake police chief.

During the pursuit, the suspects' vehicle lost control and crashed into a telephone pole. The three occupants, who jumped out of the vehicle, were taken into custody.

Police have identified a fourth suspect who is still at large.

Information on charges has not been released.
