HRT may lower woman's heart risks, study says

Women who take HRT in the early stages of menopause may have a reduced risk of heart attack, heart failure or dying. However, with all the controversy, some doctors still believe the findings aren't enough to convince them to start recommending HRT to head off heart problems.

Women have shied away from this therapy since 2002 when a landmark study found elevated risks of breast cancer, heart disease and other health problems.
