A Chicago resident was hospitalized with what appeared to be a case of fungal meningitis.

It is the second Illinois case tied to a steroid injection from a Massachusetts pharmacy.

The Chicago patient got an injection at one of the three APAC Centers for Pain Management that received the recalled steroid.

Nationwide, 29 people have died in the fungal meningitis outbreak.
