Woman charged with ID theft arrested at Winnetka bank drive-thru

December 4, 2012 (WINNETKA, Ill.)

Molly Meiring, 35, of Fort Lauderdale, is charged with identity theft and forgery. Winnetka police say she tried to cash a forged check on Thursday at the Northern Trust Bank. She was arrested after being recognized by a teller; Meiring was a suspect in another forged check cashing and the bank had made a flyer. Police were called while she was at the drive-thru.

Bond was set at $35,000 for Meiring. She will appear in court on December 10.
