Hearing-impaired children share wish list with Santa via sign language

December 6, 2012 (SCHAUMBURG, Ill.)

They were able to share their holiday wish list with a Santa who communicated with them via sign language.

Initially he met with about 120 deaf and hearing impaired students. Then he stuck around to meet with other children who might typically find it difficult to share their Christmas lists with Santa.

There were several requests for video games and even a puppy but most children just seemed excited to meet with Santa.

The Santa will be at Woodfield Mall until 10 p.m. Thursday for anyone who would like an opportunity to see him.
