City Clerk Mendoza gives birth to healthy baby boy

Chicago City Clerk Susana Mendoza is taking a leave of absence for about six weeks after giving birth to a healthy baby boy Tuesday.

The baby, born at Prentice Women's Hospital, is named David Quinten and weighed in at 8-pounds 10-ounces.

This is the first child for Susana Mendoza and her husband David Szostak.
