The shootings happened around 7 p.m. Sunday night.
A 16-year-old was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital.
The other teen, who is 15, was shot in the finger and listed in good condition.
It's not clear what prompted the violence. There are reports the shooting was drug related, but there was no official word on a motive.
No arrests had been made Monday.
