The driver of the bus and a passenger were injured in the crash. It happened just before 9 a.m. near Diversey and Kedzie avenues.
Both the driver and the passenger were taken to hospitals in fair condition. No one was in the parked cars.
It is unclear what caused the driver to lose consciousness and crash into cars on both sides of the street.
The CTA is investigating the incident.
