April 16, 2013 (BOSTON)

Beth Roche of Highland, Ind. was injured during the blasts.

She was cheering on her daughter Becky Roche, along with other family and friends from the VIP bleachers. Becky Roche had just crossed the finish line seconds before the first blast.

"When i turned and looked over my shoulder from just beyond the finish line i saw the smoke was coming from a storefront where i knew my parents were standing, my friends and family were all right there," Becky Roche said.

"I didn't know where my husband, i didn't know where my daughter was; she just finished," Beth Roche said.

Beth Roche suffered a compound fracture of the tibia in her left leg and her left knee cap was shattered. She will need at least 8 weeks to recover.
