The Salvation Army handed out 3000 flood clean-up kits in west suburban Bellwood as a part of the organization's flood assistance effort across northern Illinois.
The kits include a bucket, gloves, mops, garbage bags and cleaning agents.
More flood clean-up kits will be distributed Monday in northwest suburban Des Plaines and west suburban Hillside.
