May 1, 2013 (CHICAGO)

Police say two cars collided at around 4:30 pm on Wednesday. The impact apparently sent one of the cars into a yard in the 1500-block of North Central Ave., where it came to a stop on top of a fence.

Paramedics took two adults in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital and two adults to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County also in critical condition, the fire department said.

Two children were also taken in good to fair condition to Stroger Hospital, according to the fire department.

All injuries were sustained by passengers in the cars.
