Protesters arrested on Michigan Avenue before Obama event

May 29, 2013 (CHICAGO)

They're calling for an end to what they call illegal deportations- and coincided the protest with President Obama's visit to Chicago.

The protesters chained themselves together and blocked traffic in the southbound lanes of Michigan Avenue outside of the Hilton hotel. Obama will attend a fundraising event at the hotel Wednesday evening.

Police officers had to use small saws to break off the chains before arresting the protesters.
