At Belmont Harbor, fire department divers were called around 5:30 p.m. after a man went under. He was found several minutes later and rushed to the hospital where he died.
About 90 minutes later, a sailor spotted a body floating near Montrose Harbor. The Chicago Police Marine Unit recovered the body of a man believed to be in his 50s. Neither victim has been identified.
