Michael Epley, 22, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to stop after an accident.
Wednesday night, Rajendrakumar Shah was crossing the intersection of 159th Street and 80th Avenue when he was struck by a car.
The 61-year-old, who was visiting from India, was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
